I am English, American and a brother

I am English, American and a brother. Looking back at my drawing, I can say that a couple of my strengths were my ability at drawing freehand, the amount of imagination that I put into the drawing, and how much I cherish my heritage. As I continued to think about my piece of art, I saw that the Treasure map I drew came out very well. The red lines that lead the way to the X are very easy to see. Also, the actual treasure explains more of the overall drawing, showing how much I care for all of the things that are in my life.

  2. The effect of having your head next to the london skyline was a very strong one. Your head was the first thing I noticed and drew me in to look at the rest of your self portrait.

I thought that the way you represented the things you hold most dear to you in the treasure chest was very personal and creative. I like that you used black and white then colors because it provided a sense of balance.

  6. It looked really cool how you had the map connected with the red line that also showed the places that were important to you. Also having the treasure chest with all of the things that are most important to you was a very cool idea. I also liked how your face was part of the skyline, it really showed how important being there is to you. And having your face in black and white instead of in color really made it stand out amongst all the other parts of you piece.

  7. I really like the contrast of the London skyline that you printed out and the pencil drawing of yourself. Even though the skyline is darker than the pencil drawing it still offered a nice contrast that ended up emphasizing the drawing.

  8. Taylor, I really liked your piece. Especially the part with your head coming out of the skyiline, it really emphasized your face. I also really enjoyed the bottom half with the theme of a treasure map. It was very oringinal, with the route of your family traced out and the magnifying glass on Boston.

  10. Taylor i liked how your face was in front of the london sky line it made you look big and important. It also made you seem as if you represented the people from london."Londonians"? Your attention to detail and precision was very impressive. The treasure map was very creative and the path in the treasure map created a direction for your eyes to follow. The treasure box was very symbolic because it represented what you protect and care most about. Good Work. Your beard was also cool.
